UPDATE: After successfully hosting on Hipcamp the company removed all my listings and said that weren’t ready for boats yet only land sites. Mind you, the Hipcamp CEO was the one who ASKED us to list! So, only Airbnb for now guys until they get it together over there.

Winter is almost here! We had a great Thanksgiving and since we don’t have an oven on our sailboat, we successfully cooked ham, sweet potatoes, and corn on the cob on the grill. We even heated up a pie on there. Mad skills.

Now we are getting ready for our busy season! Here’s some quick updates for everyone…

All The Boats Can Now be Booked on HipCamp as well as Airbnb.

If you haven’t heard of HipCamp yet, it is the “Airbnb of Camping” and we have just added all our boats on that website. The fees to travelers tend to be less than Airbnb, and they offer a $10 credit when you sign up for the first time (Use code: ambern186863).

We’re on Instagram!

We also just added our Instagram account so you can follow us on there (I have no idea why I didn’t use this earlier). See more photos and share your own adventure with us on Instagram here: (BoatCampingLife).

Milestones on the Communal Barge:

Our communal barge now has the outer walls and ceiling beams in place. We’ve got the coffee station rolling and have attached a floating for our supplies. Hammocks coming soon..

During busy times or if guests want another night, we are offering a tent option out there (weather dependent) with an air mattress, sheets and pillows.

And Congratulations Captain Zappa!  He finally received his official paperwork this summer for his Captain certification and he’s got the hat to prove it 😉

That’s it for now.

Dream. Drift. Discover.
